Jan. 31st, 2015 12:47 amDid not get as much done today as wanted to. Had a nap instead. But also did get two of my worn-thin scrub tops patched. (Including the one I'll wear tomorrow. So that was kind of important. I don't have that many outfits that fit right now... ^^;;;;;;;;) Hand sewing is soothing! Whilst rewatching Beast Wars... XD Finished reading the notes in TSHoWW, put four books on the wishlist. A Sanger bio, Angel Island, and a couple of books on sexual revolutions in 20th century America.
Hmm. I think I got Angel Island free on Kindle. Aaaaaand I can't plug that in until I'm done with the thumb drive. Right-o.
I've made a bit of progress on the next part of Open Circle, by deleting a chunk of Arcee's section and rewriting it from her POV. Sometimes this helps! Sometimes it balloons things out of control! XD So much for getting that done tonight...
In other news, and relevant to my uniform woes, such as they are, is that the practice is being sold, which means changes, but so far looks like for the better. They say they're not firing anyone and in fact mean to bring two new people in, in addition to the buyers who are a vet and a tech, and they mean to work here too.
And now the weather. Driest January ever. Also it feels like March. We've been close to record highs, last few days. Unless we get more rain in the next couple months we're in trouble. I would not want to be a CA farmer right now. o.o
