6900 words and I only have two gaps to bridge and I just... Gah! At least the thing has a title now, and I've been editing and rewording and poking at all the non-snuggle bits until I alternately hate the whole thing or realize it's not too terrible and the delay means I have in fact remembered a couple of details in time to work them in before posting and tearing my hair out over them later. XD

I would like to thank the Academy perimenopause for this complete failure of helpfully sexy hormones. Approaching another 30 day cycle... Although yesterday I realized that the Ratchet/Ironhide doesn't have to be the hottest interface I've ever written - it just has to be emotionally satisfying. So I did in fact get that done, and hopefully it isn't blah either. What I'm flailing at is the rest of the orgy choreography. ;D Ummm...I wasn't going to get too in-depth with Hound or Crosshairs, though. I mean, they shouldn't be left out completely, but neither particularly flips my squid, and the important bit is Hide/Ratch, and Hide/Ratch/Prime, soooo.... Mmouse? Thoughts? Preferences? Anyone? Bueller?

My brain did, about midweek, helpfully - or not - decide to wander off into an epilogue, which is maybe about half-finished. And there was great rejoicing. =_= Set 13 years later, it has to do with Optimus finally getting to spawn his own first clutch of hatchies! Woo! (49 of 'em!
